An Ideal Holiday Cottage in Wales
Llyndir is a delightful family cottage which is rented out as
a self catering holiday cottage when not used by the family.
It sits in an ideal cliff top location near St. Davids, Pembrokeshire,
S. Wales. The area forms part of the beautiful Pembrokeshire
Coast National Park and St. Davids is Britain's smallest cathedral
city, but more of this elsewhere...
This holiday cottage has recently been modernised with a new kitchen and bathroom and an extensive range of appliances. It
is fully equipped, except for bed-linen and towels, for 10 to
12 people.
Downstairs there is a very large entrance porch (with washing machine and spin dryer), a bathroom (with shower, bath, hand basin, and WC), a shower-room (with shower, hand basin, and WC), a kitchen with split level cooker, dishwasher and large upright fridge
and freezer), a sunroom, a living room (with real open fire), and two double bedrooms. Upstairs there is a twin bedroom and a "nursery"
with 4 beds (three single and one 4ft double). |
Llyndir's own grounds amount to nearly six acres, adjoining the coastal path with spectacular sea views towards St. Davids Head. A short path leads to a fantastic sandy beach called Porthselau. It is ideal for children and offers good swimming, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and fishing. Ramblers, bird watchers and lovers of wild flowers will find much of interest. Llyndir is a perfect base for a family holiday or for use as a retreat to get away from it all.
You may be surprised to discover there is no TV; but trust
me you won't miss it for a second, there is so much to do
at this holiday cottage in Wales... and it's great to just play
board games in the evenings, read a book or just talk over
bottle of wine (or Baileys eh mum!) or even two - remember
the art of conversation? We know people love it because
they come back year after year!
There is no telephone either - so if you leave your mobile turned
off you will be free to enjoy your stay without any "interference"
from the outside world! Please click the links below to find out more.
